Hello there. Thank you for visiting my site! I am an experienced editor and proofreader. It would be my pleasure to work with you on whatever you have that needs a professional set of eyes. There is no project too small, just as there is nothing too big! It can be an important school paper, or your first go at self-publishing your novel. It can be your website content for your business, or a flyer that you want to put up all over town.
Back in 2015, I thought I might try to supplement my waitressing income with a few copyediting courses and some freelance work. This soon developed into a full-blown passion for the publishing world. In 2019, I went back to school to attend Ryerson University's prestigious Publishing Certificate program. After immersing myself in their Intensive option, I graduated within a year and have been working as a full-time proofreader for a top Canadian printing company ever since.
Since my big decision in 2015, I have also been working as a freelancer, editing work for event planners, catering companies, Masters' students, and literary agencies. My favourite stint was with the literary agency. I got the chance to review novels in their early stages, offer structural advice, clean up any and all mechanical errors, and work on a wide variety of writings, from non-fiction science texts to chick lit!
